As you might have noticed I’m taking a little break from blogging to sort out some stuff. I need to figure out where blogging fits into my career and also take steps towards a healthier lifestyle than I have right now. That said, I’m already getting some good ideas of where to go from here and I’ve got some great client projects kicking off that I’m crazy excited about, so it’s not really all bad.

In the meantime, you can head over to Remeshed.com to read my latest piece counting down 7 Video Game Genres Perfect for Noobs. As I mention frequently on the blog, I am not the most skilled gamer out there, but over the years I’ve managed to find the genres that both interest me and that I can engage in, so I figured I’d share what I’ve learned with y’all. Lemme know what you think.

Enjoy the break, and best of luck with figuring it all out! I’m in a similar boat with blogging lately, so I can definitely relate.

Blogging definitely eats up a lot of time! I’m suffering this hardcore at the moment! I still miss reading blogs and blogging though, trying to catch up on everyone 🙂 🙂 I hope a break gives you a chance to hit refresh!

Thanks, Ari. I know I won’t be gone forever, but I’m actually kinda glad I’m doing this. And thanks for your response to the article. I know it’s short, but I had a lot of fun with it.

Enjoy the break Mariko and I can completely understand where you are coming from. I’m going through a bit of a difficult time with school right now that has put a huge dampener on blogging.

Enjoy your break. I have been struggling to keep up with blogging myself.. and keeping up with it – I do go on everyone’s blog post to read but I don’t find myself necessarily engaging in any way. Hope you get everything figured out!

Thanks, Jane. Yeah, I hate the feeling of obligation I get re: responding to blogs I read. Sometimes I really have nothing to add. Doesn’t mean I didn’t like your post, it just means you did a good job summing everything up!
