Back in August I saw a post on Ari’s Comics and Cookies about Prairie Charms’ subscription boxes of hand made goods and I noticed that she mentioned they were putting together a new kawaii box if you got in touch with them on Twitter. Always up for a little more kawaii in my life I went ahead and ordered myself one.

Here’s what came inside my Prairie Charms Kawaii Box:

I really like the fabrics used on the hair accessories, especially the Alice in Wonderland ones. I almost wish the bow on the scrunchie was a little bigger so you could see the characters better, but as it is it is very cute and demure. I really like wearing the scrunchie to hold a top knot. The bow detail is just really sweet and make the hair style just a little less formal looking.

I’m also really smitten with that teddy-bear necklace. I like how the branding on the wood makes in look kind of like a cookie. It’s so sweet I almost want to eat it!

While the kawaii box is still a limited edition sort of thing you have to order on Twitter, Prairie Charms has tons of other adorable accessories available in their online store. In particular I’m coveting the Willow Heart clips and the flower crowns, like the Rachelle.

All in all I’m quite happy with this box and would recommend it to anyone looking for more cute, handmade accessories.

    I love the idea of a scrunchie around a topknot and the fabric does look awesome – I see glimpses of Cheshire cat! These subscription boxes are dangerous!

    Very cute accessories. ^^ There is always more room for kawaii in ones life, unless your room is full of stuff and you don’t know where to put it all… ^^;;
