Hello my lovelies!

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome back to blogging. You have no idea what your support and encouragement means to me. I know Gamerwife isn’t the biggest blog out there, but the community that’s managed to gather around it means the absolute world to me and I can’t begin to express what you all mean to me.

As for this weekend, it looks like I’ll be going to back to back picnics. Pixelles is having a casual picnic on Saturday and then I’m co-hosting the Montreal Geek Girl Brunch Ghibli Picnic & Bento Competition. Let’s cross our fingers that the weather behaves for us.

Welcome back, girl! I’ve been pretty absent from the blogging world, myself, but I’m looking forward to all things Gamerwife!

That article on video game backlogs is all too relevant for me. In my case, I blame it on too many hours spent on World of Warcraft and not enough on games that have fulfilling storylines. I recently kicked the MMORPG habit, so hopefully I can get to work on that backlog.

I just took a look at how many games I actually own on Steam and blushed. I haven’t even downloaded half of them!

My backlog of games is definitely decently large, and we are currently debating getting a PS4 in the near future, which will only add to it! Making the time seems so obvious, but it really is so important. I think one the hubs and I plow through the last of our shows we want to watch on Netflix together, I’ll be using all screen time for gaming, at least to get through what I already have!

At our place it is constantly a battle between me and Rick for who gets to do what on the TV. I’m the Netflix binger, he’s the console gamer. And OH SO rarely we actually PLAY A GAME TOGETHER. Crazy.
