It’s been a pretty up and down week for me and Rick. Finally got my wallet back from Boston, which has been a load off my mind, but other than that it’s been a roller coaster of productivity and cranky boredom. Maybe its just my body’s way of expressing its frustration with my attempts at keeping a proper grown up schedule?

I also managed to bang out a couple of guest posts for some blogs I really love. First up was my nerdy decor inspiration post for The Cat, You and Us, which will go up on May 14th. I love Dani and Damaris’ beautiful photography blog, so I was absolutely tickled pink when they invited me to do a guest post for their Home is With You First Bloggaversary celebration. I also wrote a little article on how to play video games with someone who isn’t good at video games for Pixelkin, which should be going up soon (don’t worry, I’ll keep you guys posted).

This weekend will probably be spent working as I just landed a new client and need to catch up on research. Not to mention prepping another awesome video game giveaway starting next week. Stay tuned.

This is such a no-brainer that I honestly cannot figure out why it hasn’t already happened. via Chocolate And Cream Cake

Please! Please! Please! More of THIS! We need to educate young women as to what Feminism actually is.

Although not conceived us for such, I know a lot of table top RPG players who would love this.

And, for every one thing Nintendo does right, they do another thing incredibly wrong.

I don’t actually play EVE Online myself, but this project looks incredibly cool.

Fascinating look at the state of mobile gaming in Africa.

What would you put in a software cannon? And how would you archive it?

As a former “horror girl” myself, I found this article incredibly moving.

Anyone who witnessed my recent mad dash to build my Disco Zoo bigger than Rick’s might consider me an exception here.

And finally, do you suffer from Nintendo Thumb?

I’ve been a fan of Ron Guyatt art for a while and I think he just gets better and better.
