First off, thank you soooo much for all the pre-birthday wishes. I know I’ve been kind of moody the last couple of weeks, but all kind wishes from you guys have totally melted my heart. Thank you.

Today I am recovering from hosting the first ever Cashtronauts tournament. Thanks to everyone who made it out to show their support for the game and indie development in Montreal. We couldn’t do it without you! I should have a recap post of the event sometime next week.

And speaking of next week, I’ll actually be blogging from Vancouver, where I’ll be officially celebrating my birthday with mountains of delicious Asian food. And friends and family. But mostly Asian food.

Oh, and don’t forget that the Gaddabout Gamers Blog Link Up officially kicks off this Monday (Feb 24) so get your posts on the theme NEStalgia polished and ready to go! So excited for this!

Link time!

Ever wondered what Doctor Who would look like if it had originated in the US? Some of these are so spot on I can barely handle it. And for the record, I am totally pro Nicolas Cage.

I know I just confessed to being a big scaredy-cat, but this bio-feedback horror game sounds mega cool.

Love Adventure Time? Now you can eat your way through Ooo!

Are you an old timey Sci-Fi nerd like me? Play the theremin in your browser!!

Ladies Against Humanity is totally killing me. So true! So funny!

The imaginary conversation at the end of this article totally makes the lady-rage it will induce worth it.

I’m late to the party on Doge Coin, but I’m actually totally on board now.

Personally, I think iPad is the perfect venue for games for social change.

As far as internet based social experiments go, Steam Plays Pokemon is fascinating, mind-boggling and awe-inspiring, all at once.

I’m tempted file this under “well, duh,” but then I remember that I’m smarted than 99% of people. *sigh*

Hope you have a wonderful weekend, y’all!

I’m not really into Doctor Who, but that list of American Doctors is hilarious! The thought of the Doctor being played by Christopher Walken is killin’ me!

He would definitely be the “spooky” Doctor.

So rad to hear the cashtronauts tournament went well. I’d love to see some footage from it.

Those Doctors are pretty on point, but started losing me at Nick Cage. 🙂

Any Asian restaurants you’d recommend in Vancouver? I’m a HUGE addict of Peaceful Resturant!

I’ve never been to Peaceful. I usually eat my Chinese food in Burnaby with my parents. Big fan of Burnaby Palace (a little spendy, but super tasty) & Mr. Ho’s.
