Wow, it’s been a whirlwind of a week. November MRGS meetup, playtesting at Minority Media and helping Flying Carpet Games launch the Kickstarter campaign for The Girl and The Robot. Freelance life is definitely starting to agree with me.

This weekend’s plans involve lots of eating out as the Montreal a table festival is in full swing. Gotta love discounts on yummy food.

5 Awesome NES facts, animated in stop-motion.

Wine for cats. That is all.

Congrats to Montreal’s own Kitfox games for being a finalist in this year’s Indie Speed Run game jam competition with their game Sculptorgeist.

And speaking of game jams, regardless of whether you’re taking part in this weekend’s GAMERella jam, this list of 10 Free Game Development Tools is sure to come in handy you need to whip a game together.

Do you agree with this list of the top 10 worst video game controls, as reviewed by The Angry Video Game Nerd?

And finally, two of my favourite things, together at last: chiptune & The Talking Heads.
