A few more snap-shots of Tokyo as we close out our time in Japan.
The view from our room in Hakone.
After a relaxing couple of nights at the onsen, we jumped right back into the craziness of Tokyo in Shinjuku.
Rick at the Capcom bar. Thanks to Sarah for the recommendation!
You can’t tell, but that big building on the right is the Square-Enix headquarters.
And finally, as a gift for all my hard work organizing the trip, Rick decided to buy me a new yukata with all the trimmings.

October 2, 2013 at 3:26 pmThank you, Jane! We also ended up somewhere called the “8-bit cafe” that was all retro-game themed, full of old consoles and themed drinks! More on that soon. 😉

October 6, 2013 at 4:58 pmI am loving seeing all the japan pics. You look so breathtaking in your new yukata. It’s a beautiful fabric. And I HAVE to go to the Capcom bar. Sounds rad.

October 8, 2013 at 11:00 amThank you, Caz! I had a hard time picking between a light fabric and dark one, because I thought a dark one looked too… old. But I’m really happy with it and I absolutely love the big bold flowers. The Capcom bar was hella fun, but unfortunately pretty much everything was in Japanese so we couldn’t really follow what was happening half the time. But, the food was surprisingly delicious, so I still highly recommend it.
