This Week’s Menu

Last week, as often happens, we lost our resolve by the end of the week. Rick ate out with a co-worker on Thursday night, and Friday night was BBQ and D&D, but we salvaged the planned meals later on during the weekend. In fact, I think Asparagus Pancetta Hash is our new favourite savoury brunch food.

No stand outs from our menu last week, but the Spaghettini with Mushrooms, Garlic and Oil was incredibly satisfying for how simple it was. We used tomato basil spaghettini, which added to the yumminess and I highly recommend trying it out if you are looking for a cheap and quick dinner fix.

Rick was partial to the Cauliflower Mash, but mostly because we doubled the garlic called for in the recipe. Personally, I’m still not sure who I feel about cauliflower.

Monday: Black Pepper Tofu with Steamed Rice and Ginger Glazed Carrots
Tuesday: Asian Glazed Drumsticks with Broccoli
Wednesday: Cheese, Peas and Pasta
Thursday: Glazed Salmon Bundles with Sesame Bok Choy
Friday: Baked Egg Rolls & Rice Noodles with Black Bean Garlic Sauce
