37 Nerdy Valentines For You To Share

Back in college I used to make a habit of giving out those elementary school style Valentine’s Day cards to a bunch of my friends and coworkers. You know, the perforated ones with the teeny-tiny paper envelops? I was surprised at how touched everyone was by the gesture, although I’m sure many of them thought I was being overly precious (which I probably was). I guess as we get older the emphasis on Valentine’s Day becomes more about romantic couples than who’s most popular in school, so a token of platonic love was more appreciated than I’d realized.

So for you, my internet friends, I present a collection of some of the cutest, nerdiest, awesomest Valentines culled from across the bloggosphere:

Awesome Avengers Valentines by Karina (a.k.a. dilfosaur).

Super cheesy Sherlock Valentines by Brynn Heckrote (a.k.a. Brynnasaurus).

Skyrim Valentines by Jemma Salume (a.k.a. Oxboxer)

Scott Pilgrim Valentines by Liz Nelson (a.k.a. Lizeelou)

And finally, a set of Mass Effect Valentines for your Demo Day dates:

This set is by David Boyle.

A few more I found after I posted this: Amazing He-Man themed Valentine (reference here). And a super cute Zelda Valentine originally from VG Cats.

These are positively adorable, so much so that I managed to “aww” over them without following up with the obligatory “urgh”! Those Scott Pilgrim ones are just perfect!
